How to find The Deck

FROM THE FERRY AT PENNESHAW:
    
  1. Take the main road out of Penneshaw to Kingscote

  2. You will pass through Baudin Beach and Brown Beach

  3. Approx 3.5km from Brown Beach and 14km from Penneshaw there is a signpost to Island Beach. Turn right

  4. Approx 2km along this road [Island Beach Road] turn right into Penguin Street - dirt road [4th on right]

  5. Drive through the intersection [Borda Rd & Flinders Grove] to the beach

  6. Turn right. This is Decoudie Drive

The Deck is 200 meters down Decoudie Drive [between "Malibu" and "Breeze"]. It is pale grey with blue trim and has a steep driveway with a garage on the left

FROM THE KINGSCOTE AIRPORT

  1. Take the main Kingscote to Penneshaw Road

  2. Pass the main bitumen turn off to American river on your left

  3. The turn off to Island Beach is 14km past the American River turn off

  4. Turn left at the Island Beach turn off just past Felt Hat Corner

  5. Approx 2km along this road [Island Beach Road] turn right into Penguin Street - dirt road [4th on right]

  6. Drive through the intersection [Borda Rd & Flinders Grove] to the beach

  7. Turn right. This is Decoudie Drive

  8. The Deck is 200 meters down Decouedic Drive [between "Malibu" and "Breeze"]. It is pale grey with blue trim and has a steep driveway with a garage on the left - it is signed "The Deck"
